Along with treating a wide range of health problems, over the years Claire has taught for adult education, lectured to students of complementary therapies, given talks to Women’s Institutes and similar groups, provided workshops for various support groups such as arthritis, heart disease and diabetes associations and also worked with charities such as Mind and also Care for the Carers to provide educational and fun sessions for participants.
She has written articles on nutrition for various publications, advised on food intolerance for York Laboratory and given advice to schools on the value of healthy eating for children.
“My philosophy is to always seek to discover the root cause of a person’s health issues rather than just treating their individual symptoms. I consider every aspect of a person’s health rather than just focusing on the area of the presenting problem in isolation. Treating the WHOLE person in this way will optimise the chances of them achieving long-lasting changes to health. Through my work, I like to give the individual the knowledge that they need to take control of their own health.”
Claire has treated a wide range of health problems over the years.
Her particular areas of interest are digestive disorders, autoimmune diseases especially those associated with joint health, chronic fatigue, blood sugar imbalances and weight problems.
Claire is a full member of the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council, British Association of Applied Nutrition & Nutritional Therapy and is a Member of Association of Reflexologists.
Outside of work, Claire enjoys the great outdoors cycling, hill walking and visiting places of interest around the UK.

Nutritional therapy involves the use of specially designed dietary and supplement programmes. It can be used to help a wide range of health and weight issues.
A nutritional therapist will design the programme to suit the individual recognising that every person's needs are different.
Iridology is a diagnostic technique used in natural medicine. It is the study of the iris of the eye. It can reveal imbalances and weaknesses in the body, show areas of toxic accumulation, and give an overall view of the individual's state of health.
Reflexology is a natural therapy. The whole body is mapped out in miniature on the feet and the different areas are known as reflex points. Specific massage and pressure point techniques are applied to these reflex points in order to improve energy flow and bring balance to the whole body. Reflexology may help a wide range of health problems, relieve stress and promote an overall state of relaxation.
