Chiropractor in Littlehampton

Alex (Xinyue) was born in China, where she originally trained as a Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor. Knowing that she wanted to offer more to her patients, Alex decided to move to the USA to spend an additional four years achieving her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic, whilst completing additional training in Functional Medicine and Sports Chiropractic.

Coming from a medical background, Alex dedicated years to seeking holistic, integrated, proactive options for health and well-being. Being a Chiropractor has given her the opportunity to offer those options to her patients.

In her free time Alex enjoys cooking for family and loved ones, and staying active with hiking, yoga and gym.

Alex has many years of experience in treating patients of all ages and backgrounds, from children with early signs of scoliosis to seniors after joint replacement, headaches, migraines, neck pain, back pain, sciatica and much more.

Alex will be taking over from our current Chiropractor Danielle Webster in August 2024.

Alex's Techniques

Motion Specific Technique
Motion Specific Technique is a technique honed by Dr Tim Young, a world-renowned leader in Chiropractic. Alex has been training under Dr.Young, aiming to master this technique to offer the most specific adjustment possible. Motion Specific Technique initially focuses on assessing your spine, locating the areas of most stress and restriction, and then returning natural motion through specific spinal adjustments. This technique may include 'cracking' and 'popping' of your spinal joints as the restrictions are released. This is Alex's most commonly used technique for most patient presentations.

Diversified Technique
This technique aims to remove restrictions between the spinal joints by performing gentle pulls, pushes, and twists to the spine, helping to remove adhesions between the spinal joints.  These adjustments can cause mild clicking or popping of your joints, which is a perfectly natural process as restrictions are released.

X-Ray Assessment
Alex has completed hundreds of hours of training in reading and assessing X-rays and reports on X-rays daily for her patients. This experience helps Alex to accurately locate the areas of most stress in your spine, assess the causes of the dysfunction, and then create a plan to help to return your spine to normal function. Alex is able to refer to Chichester Chiropractic Health Centre for X-ray images to be taken when required, and soon these facilities will be available onsite in Littlehampton.
