Your Initial Consultation

During your initial consultation, you will be asked questions about your general health and the issues you would like to have addressed.

This involves asking questions about your current symptoms and your medical history, as well as such things as your sleeping pattern, your appetite and digestion, and your emotional wellbeing. Women are also asked about their menstrual cycle and any past pregnancies and childbirth.

You might feel that some questions appear unrelated to your condition but the information you give helps your practitioner to form a complete picture of your health and lifestyle. Your practitioner will take your pulse on both wrists, examine your tongue and may feel for areas of muscular tension or pain. Your practitioner will then select suitable acupuncture points for your treatment.

Sin Mui completed her studies at the London School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1990. She took further studies in Chengdu Hospital For Traditional Chinese Medicine and regularly attends on-going courses and seminars.

She has helped many people with a wide range of health problems and painful conditions and she treats every individual with care and compassion. Every treatment is aimed at treating the roots of their health problems and conditions to help bring about a healing response.
